Looking for high volume CNC production machining? Pro-Type's state-of-the-art 550 mm Toyoda CNC 4 axis horizontal mill means we can machine your aluminum parts faster than anyone! Why? 15,000 rpm combined with 30 hp, huge 50 taper tooling, 30 inch + "work cube" and 2400 inch per minute positioning ; means ultra-fast removal of material--cavities, enclosures, panels, modifications--you name it! We also have several vertical CNC mills w/ pallet changers for automatic, efficient production runs. Our multiple vise "clusters" allow automatic machining of dozens of small parts on the mill at one time--great for production machining of small aluminum, steel or plastic enclosures!

Our newest (Dec 2006)  lathe is also "production" oriented with automatic barfeed, milling plus a sub-spindle. What does this mean to our customers? Lathe work / traditional turning can be done on both ends of the part and in the sides/periphery of a part (think tapped set screw holes, etc) without re-clamping or re-fixturing. Fast, high speed lathe work--less costly to the customer as parts come off the machine done—without a lot of costly handling!
